Job Description:

The Product Specialist is the customer facing contact for our customers. They will continue to expand and build relationships with new and existing customers by directing and supporting all sales efforts to help grow EM Research’s (EMR) product lines. They will demonstrate excellent customer service by answering any questions or concerns regarding our products. They must meet all customer requirements while following the procedures set in place by EM Research.
The Product Specialist will demonstrate strong technical knowledge of EMR’s products throughout the quoting process. They will be responsible for quoting rebuys or customizable electronic assemblies to fit the customer’s needs as well as creating and updating Specification Sheets for EMR product. They will work closely with other Marketing disciplines, Customer Service, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and QA throughout the whole process. They must be able to perform in a fast paced environment, demonstrating the ability to multi-task with minimal supervision.
Work Hours:
M-F as coordinated and approved with Department Manager and Human Resources. Overtime and weekends as needed.

Duties / Responsibilities:
- Significant Customer focus and interaction is a must.
- Answer any questions or concerns customers may have regarding the EMR product line
- Build and maintain customer relationships and log all customer contacts including contact information for future follow ups.
- Will be highly involved in the quoting process from initializing the quote to finalizing the quote and closing it out.
- Will need to work closely with Marketing, Customer Service, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and QA
- Responsible for creating Specification Sheets for EMR products.
- Demonstrate product knowledge, functionality accurately and completely.
- Will utilize EMR’s ERP system and Sales Force to help maintain customer accounts, contact information any upcoming opportunities.
Skills Required:
- Customer service and sales experience with semiconductor products, surface mount components or other electronic assemblies is preferred.
- Must have strong Customer Resource Management (CRM) knowledge
- Knowledge in Sales Force is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proficient in the Microsoft office suite of programs.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Must be Highly–motivated, knowledgeable and friendly
- Must be detailed oriented.
Education / Experience Required:
- Associates Degree with 2 years’ experience or 5 years of experience in technical sales.
