The Operations Associate will be functioning in many departments including Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory. Other tasks may be requested as required and based on the needs of the company.
M-F as coordinated and approved with Department Manager and Human Resources. Overtime and weekends as needed.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Opens all shipments and verifies count, completeness of paperwork and checks for damage
Maintains accurate receiving records, and Routes incoming materials to receiving inspection or appropriate personnel
Prior to shipment, the Shipping Associate will verify the parts to the job folder and traveler. This verification will include: part number, lot/serial number accuracy, test data inclusion (if required), visual inspection for scratches or other cosmetic defects, packing slip accuracy, and completion of all traveler steps.
The Shipping Associate shall work closely with in-process inspection, shipping, manufacturing, and test personnel to ensure the parts are accurately prepared for shipment to the customer.
When discrepancies are found, the Shipping Associate will work with the appropriate department to expeditiously resolve the problem.
Prepares products for shipment including packaging, weighing, creating packing slips, and addressing of parcels.
Sets-up, organizes and maintains all bins used for storing material.
Receives pick requests and pulls kits by date needed or as coordinated with Supervisor.
Follows-up on all kit shortages by identifying shortages on pick list and completes kit when parts are received in the Stockroom.
Conducts physical and/or cycle count inventory to verify/correct inventory accuracy. Assists Supervisor/Manager in determining minimum level inventory by part by utilizing usage history.
Solid knowledge of MS Word and Excel

Ability to learn and effectively utilize ERP System.
Education / Experience Required:
High School Diploma or GED with 2 years experience
