New SLX and LX Series: 3V or 3.3V - Low Power Consumption
The SLX and LX Series miniature frequency synthesizers from EM Research are custom-designed to utilize 3V or 3.3V inputs to meet the stringent low power consumption requirements of short range and battery powered wireless systems.
- Extremely low power consumption (900 MHz, +3V @ 15 mA, typical)
- Operating temperature range -40°C to +85°C available
- Cost-effective, surface-mount packages
- Fixed-frequency or programmable in bands from 50 MHz to 6 GHz
- Exceptionally low phase noise, <-110 dBc/Hz @ 100 KHz offset, at 400 MHz
- High-volume tape-and-reel
- -5 dBm output power, typical (up to +7 dBm, optional)
- Low spurious, low harmonics
SLX units are housed in an ultra-miniature surface-mount package of 0.5” x 0.5” x 0.15” (12.7mm x 12.7mm x 3.8mm) while the LX is housed in a slightly larger package of 0.75” x 0.75” x 0.15” (19mm x 19mm x 3.8mm).
Applications: Wireless receivers and transmitters, RF transceivers, WLAN, CATV, DA/AD converters, basestations, ISM Band, Short Range Devices, wireless sensors, automatic meter-reading, and other battery powered wireless systems.
EM Research designs and manufactures its products in Reno, Nevada USA.
